AVANTE Audio is proud to announce that its much-anticipated new Akro ATL328 active line array module is now shipping worldwide. The first model in the company’s next-generation Akro Series, the ATL328 has been designed from the ground up to deliver exceptional fidelity, impressive output, and flexible networking capabilities within a compact and robust enclosure.
Created for audio professionals working across a variety of live production and installation applications, the ATL328 combines a sleek design with premium internal components. At its heart are two high-output 8-inch neodymium low-mid drivers paired with a coaxial MF/HF neodymium compression driver coupled to a precision medium-format waveguide. This 3-way configuration provides full and balanced frequency coverage, while the coaxial design ensures phase-coherent reproduction across the mid and high ranges.
The ATL328 is powered by four discrete Class D switching amplifiers that deliver 2800-watts of total peak power , supported by a PFC power supply to ensure efficient operation, ample headroom, and very low distortion. It offers a linear phase frequency response of 70 Hz – 20 kHz (-6dB) and a wide 110° horizontal dispersion, making it ideal for delivering consistent coverage in a variety of event spaces. This is a single module to form small to large arrays depending on venue or application.
Onboard, German-engineered, 96 kHz DSP with FIR filtering ensures accurate crossover management and tonal shaping, while networking options provide users with advanced control. The ATL328 supports standard TCP/IP AVB remote control and is fully integrated with the Milan™ platform, an emerging standard for real-time media networking. This allows engineers to configure and monitor multiple system elements from a central computer running the Akro-Command software (Windows or Mac), providing access to key parameters including input level, EQ, delay, and LF/HF compensation presets.

With both the hardware and software designed for touring reliability, the ATL328 is housed in a rugged CNC-machined birch plywood enclosure finished with a durable black polyurea coating. Its integrated EZ-Deploy fully articulating precision rigging system allows for straightforward setup, whether flying in an array or ground stacking. For outdoor use, a protective rain cover is supplied for the amplifier connections, while IP-rated locking power connectors come as standard for maximum reliability in challenging environments.

The new Akro Series also includes the ATS218 dual 18-inch subwoofer, designed to perfectly complement the ATL328. Featuring a high-efficiency Class D amplifier delivering 4800W peak power, the ATS218 achieves extended low-frequency response down to 32 Hz (-6 dB). With comprehensive DSP – including cardioid and end-fire presets accessible via the Akro-Command control software – the ATS218 delivers both power and control, ensuring a complete system solution when paired with the ATL328 modules.
Now shipping through AVANTE Audio dealers worldwide, the Akro Series represents a new generation of lightweight, Milan-certified line array technology for the professional live sound market.
