Ideal for audio professionals seeking impactful low-end reinforcement for medium-to-large-scale applications, the ATS218 combines robust construction with premium components and advanced processing. At its heart are two high-output 18-inch woofers, tuned via an oversized port to achieve exceptional efficiency and extended low-frequency performance. This design allows the ATS218 to deliver a powerful linear phase frequency response of 32 Hz – 120 Hz (-6 dB), with a maximum SPL of 142 dB, making it an ideal solution for events where impactful low end is essential.
Driving this performance is a high-efficiency Class D switching amplifier, delivering 4,800 watts of peak power, supported by a PFC power supply for clean, consistent output with minimal distortion. A high quality 96 kHz DSP with FIR filtering provides advanced crossover management and tonal shaping, as well as protection features including peak limiting, thermal safeguards, and short-circuit monitoring.
The ATS218 is Milan-certified, allowing for seamless integration into modern networked audio environments. With support for both analog and digital inputs, the system can be monitored and controlled remotely through AVANTE’s Akro-Command software on Windows or Mac. This provides engineers with access to a full suite of parameters, including input level, EQ, polarity, and delay, along with quick selection of cardioid and end-fire presets to optimize system performance in different environments.

Built for reliability on the road, the ATS218 features a CNC-machined birch plywood enclosure finished with a tough black polyurea coating and protected by a powder-coated, galvanized steel grille. Integrated EZ-Link locking hardware allows cabinets to be securely connected together for array configurations, while multiple rigging points and interlocking feet provide flexibility for stacking or flying. IP-rated locking power connectors and a supplied rain cover for the amplifier connections ensure the ATS218 can perform reliably in all conditions.
